Our Open Class Dog and Cat Show is held in the under the grandstands at the Boone County Fairgrounds. 

Dogs: beginning at 9:30 am
Cats: beginning at 10:30 am

Age Divisions:
- PeeWee: 6 and under
- Junior: 7-15 years old
- Senior: Over the age of 15

Cat Classes: Kitten (less than 1 year old), Cat (1 year+), Best Groomed, Cat Costume
* FREE vet checks for cats
Dog Classes: Small Dog, Large Dog, Most Personality/Tricks, Obedience Class, Dog Costume

Cash prizes awarded in each of 10 categories:
(Religious, agricultural, antique, civic and service, classic, commercial, equestrian, family, political, youth)

Trophy for Best of Theme: Best of Theme winner will be eligible to participate in the State Fair Parade, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 6:00 pm in Grand Island, NE

Judging: 12:15-1:00 pm
Parade begins at 1:30 pm
Registrations after 1:00 pm will not be judged and no registrations will be accepted after 1:15 pm.

Parade leaves staging area at 1:30 pm, west of Fuller Park. Line-up and registration begins at 10 am on the south end of the fairgrounds; Must enter through the west gate by rodeo arena.
